Baxter Auto Group acquired Audi Shawnee Mission in Merriam for an undisclosed amount, giving the Omaha company its fifth dealership in the Kansas City metro area. With the addition of the Audi dealership, Baxter anticipates its metro-area properties generating $500 million in revenue, the company said in a release. General Manager John Coats and the dealership's 50 employees will join Baxter. The Audi dealership is at 6601 Frontage Road, just off Interstate 35 and 67th Street. Baxter also owns Subaru of Olathe, Honda of Olathe, Legends Toyota and Legends Honda, according to the release.
